Christmas brought visions of sugar plums, Santa Claus, and another terrorist with which to contend. Such a surprise!
When will this administration stop its asinine treatment of those who hope to kill as many Americans as possible? They are not criminals, they are terrorists. Use the word and stop trying to avoid hurting their feelings. Let the military have them and serve justice. We are at war with these people as they perform their jihads against us. We don't need Obama apologizing for their mistreatment. Let the military do their job and get answers. Can you imagine Hitler being interrogated and the US worrying about hurting his feelings? Offering him a chance to "lawyer up?" If torturing works, get on with it. Did anyone think our boys weren't tortured by the Japanese or the Germans during World War II? It's one of the unpleasant facts of war. Nobody likes to remember those days when we had soldiers in prison camps, or the Jews were being annihilated just because they were Jews. It's an unpleasant memory and one no one likes to be reminded of. But war is war. And the enemy must be stopped no matter how unpleasant we have to be. Perhaps you've forgotten but war is hell. And we are at war.
Is anyone being blamed for not stopping this terrorist from boarding that plane when all the information was there? No, Mr apologetic Obama pretends to be angry and says that we must do something to stop the onslaught of terrorist attacks by putting more stringent practices in place. How about copying the practices of El Al, Israel's airlines? They have no problems with profiling everyone. And they have no incidents to report.
How about stopping anyone from Yemen from entering this country by refusing to grant visas to them? And yes, I am for profiling people of a certain background from entering this country. Anytime anyone wants to pay cash for a ticket or it's a one way fare, red flags should have immediately gone up. And if a nation doesn't want to go along with these practices, they should not be allowed to fly into this country.
But, no, Obama would never stand behind such guidelines because we might hurt the feelings of some of his Muslim friends.
Politically, one more attack on this country, and Obama is through. That's not just my consensus, but the opinion of political strategists throughout our country.
We need someone in office who is not afraid to do right for this country and so far, I'm not seeing that person in the Oval office. I felt a lot safer under the last administration than I do under the current one. Much of the programs that Bush put in place have been taken apart and dismantled by the new leader. And I feel a lot less safe than before. Economically, this country cannot survive another disaster at the hands of our enemies. We need Congress to forget about insurance problems and concentrate on keeping this nation and its inhabitants safe. ~One Voice
