Do you remember it? Most of us are too young to have been there. But we remember the stories, the horrific pictures, the history of it all.
December 7, 1941, as Roosevelt said, "is a day that will live in infamy." History books today may try to cloud that day over with "political correctness." But we were viciously and brutally attacked by the Japanese.
The destruction of much of our Navy's battleships was a blow to the Americans and yet they rose up from the ashes of those bombings to fight back for our country. Millions of men marched into recruitment centers and signed up to fight the enemy.
They became our "Greatest Generation." Proud young boys eager to stand up for their country and do the nation proud. And that they did.
If you know any veterans from that time that are still with us, listento their stories. And thank them for their service to this country. They literally saved the nation.
Many lives were lost that day. Bright, fresh young faces that went through hell and some who now lay buried in the belly of those ships. Say a silent prayer in their memory.
Make this day a day to remember. Next year we will celebrate the 70th anniversary of this sad day. And despite this attack, and the war that followed, a new generation of Americans was born into a free nation. Thank God for their service and may God Bless America! ~One Voice

Delay vs. Rangel: Double Standards
Tom Delay was ousted from office several years ago and the charge was money laundering, giving campaign contributions to other candidates. Charlie Rangel hasn't paid his taxes in several years on property he owns in the Dominican Republic. Delay has been convicted, though it took several trials to get that conviction. Rangel, to my knowledge, as not been approached by the Feds, but has been censured by his colleagues in the House of Representatives. What that will entail has yet to be decided. But Rangel is still there, still serving in the House, having been re-elected to another term by his constituents in Harlem. He is 80 years old.
Both men have served many terms in the legislature and while one will certainly have a jail term, the other, Rangel, will no doubt still be free.
Where is the justice in this country? I am not standing behind either party, but am demanding equal justice for both crimes. Rangel should be kicked out as Delay was. Anytime crimes are committed justice needs to prevail. And neither should be permitted to hold onto their office. (Delay was removed; but will Rangel be forced to step down?
I doubt it. There are 2 sets of rules for Democrats and Republicans. And if you aren't wise to this, you've been hiding behind a rock. James Traficant, a representative from Ohio, served jail time. He was a Republican. Tom Delay will likely serve jail time, he is a Republican. And Rangel likely will get a slap on the wrist.
It's time to stop this double standard in our Congress. If you do the crime, you do the time and that's the end of that story.
Keep on your representatives and senators. Do not allow them to adhere to this double standard any longer. We have to watch them closely and refuse to let them get away with anything, because if we stand back and do nothing, they will continue to ignore the pressing problems of the people and go ahead with business as usual. We cannot accept that. We have a brand new Congress coming in this January; one who has promised to adhere to the will of the people. Let's hold everyone of them accountable. ~ One Voice

Tea Party Patriots: What's Ahead
The Tea Party can pat itself on the back. Hey, we did a good job. But our work is not done.
Our work is just beginning. We have to keep our eye on the republicans in Washington. We've heard that Boehner is keeping the will of the people at the fore front of his agenda. That's good, but we have to make sure that things are done appropriately.
As we look forward to 2012, we have to target the opposition where Democrats still retained their offices and find viable candidates to take them down. No, we are not a hit squad. But we have to stay active in our quest to retain a traditional America, one totally based on our Constitution and the principles created by our forefathers.
Things are going to be difficult out here in the grassroots of America. We all have to bite the bullet and tighten our belts as everyone has to pitch in and face the hard fact that cuts must be made. But once we get through these hard days ahead, we will come out victorious on the other side of the war on the national debt.
No more spending in Washington will directly impact many lives. We can only hope they won't continually make the elders pay for the sins of the younger ones who put us on this path.
Looking ahead to the next election, we must prepare because the left is going to come at us with all they've got. We'll be ridiculed, insulted, and literally attacked from all sides. Why? Because they fear us. We have the power. We are the people.
So let's begin now to prepare for 2012. There is a lot of work ahead that must be done before the next election. Let's get started by recruiting more members. We need to get through to the people who haven't voted and win them to our side. And the best way to do that is with knowledge. Spread the word. Invite people to the meetings. Let them see the level to which we are committed to keeping America free!

November Has Come: Obama's Reaction
Obama was presented with a golden opportunity today in a press conference to address the gigantic victory by the GOP last night. Unfortunately, Obama missed the opportunity. He did his best to appear humble but his words didn't match his appearance.
He still doesn't get it. The votes overwhelmingly were a referendum against Obama's policies, especially health care, but he still doesn't see that.
Instead of admitting that he understands what the people want, he pretty much insisted that he sees no reason to "repeat events that occurred in the last year."
He says he's willing to sit down with Boehner, McConnell, Pelosi, and Reid to discuss "any ideas they may have to make his plan better." But if you read the body language, you can read the insincerity of his words.
Don't count on this being an easy transition. When the House of Representatives try to repeal Obamacare, he's going to dig in and fight them tooth and nail. Since the GOP didn't win the House, we will be stopped in our tracks and that is what Obama is counting on.
But the House can stop the funding and that is where we will win. So just a word of advice to Obama. If you think we had a tsunami last night, wait until 2 years from now. We will fire you, too!
The people of this country have spoken. They want less government, repealed health care, more jobs. They want the economy fixed. And you don't do that with Obamacare which is causing insurance companies to double and triple their rates.
He promises to work with the new Congress. That remains to be seen.

Voter Fraud
It's already out there. Pennsylvania, North Carolina, California, Nevada, the news is full of cases of voter fraud.
And now we hear Bill Clinton is trying to throw the Florida election to Charlie Crist, insisting Meek needs to resign and let the race be between Rubio and Crist. 5 days before the election? I won't be surprised if we find out that the Democratic party pays Meek to back out. This is voter fraud!
And in Nevada, the hotbed race between Angle and Reid that has them in a virtual tie, there have been reports of ballots being handed out that already have Reid's name marked.
I'm totally expecting more of this to rear its ugly head. We've already heard of several states from Colorado, Illinois and New York refusing to get ballots out in time to the military, thereby disenfranchising thousands and thousands of men and women who are fighting for their country. And in Illinois, that grand state of corruption, over 2,000 ballots were delivered to the prisons. Note: Felons are not allowed to vote!
We've been waiting for this moment and now, as Voting Day draws near, we have to worry that our vote won't be counted. Keep watchful eyes and ears open. Don't let anyone get away with stealing this election. We've waited too long to be able to show our government what we feel. Vote your heart and make sure no one messes with your ballot.

NPR Controversy and Tea Party Attacks
The Firing of Juan Williams
NPR's actions against news analyst Juan Williams smack of discrimination. It is my humble opinion that they were waiting for a reason to let him go - after all, he was a commentator for FOX and we all no that FOX is an abomination to the national news media. I had someone tell me today that FOX is yellow journalism. How does one come to that conclusion when both sides, left and right, are presented?
Not only did the President of NPR handle this decision without compassion, she insulted Williams by suggesting he talk to "his psychiatrist or PR person, whichever he feels the need to see." And this woman still has her job?
Apparently, ever since Williams joined the FOX team, he became a pariah to NPR. Never mind that he gave them ten years out of his life. He is hurt by their behavior, as well he should be. Try to explain this kind of behavior to your children as he had to do.
As we speak, there are efforts to unfund this network. The Federal government has before it a measure in which they asked for funding. The government's part is small, as they rely on the public for most of its funding. Yes, tax payers are paying for this one too.
Enter George Soros.
The mega-billionaire George Soros, long known to bankroll left leaning causes, has stepped in and made big donations to NPR - enough to "hire" 100 news journalists who have "the right attitude about news"; also he is now publicly funneling money to Media Matters (which before now he would never admit); before it was funneled through The Tides, a group that he used to hide his questionable donations.
He's getting a network set up in which he can attack the "right" should they win the midterm elections.
His plans for ths country and his secretive behind the scenes plotting are about to go up in smoke. People are not as stupid as he believes.

The Tea Party is already undergoing the attacks from the far left. Sarah Palin, most of all. She is not the single solitary spokesperson for the Tea Party but they are lumped together one and the same. Those on the left have her and her husband throwing tin cans at each other in their front yard. Sounds more like this came from the National Enquirer than NPR.
The Tea Party, though not a political party, is defined as one. We've been labeled racists, loonies, astroturf and worse. All of this posturing is the result of a grassroots effort to take back our country starting with this election because we do not like what those in power are trying to do to this country. And folks, I have to tell you, all of this is the result of good, hard work.
Fear is taking over.
That's right. They are scared. And the best way to fight something they cannot understand is to denigrate us. We are fighting in the trenches for the country we believe in. And no amount of ridicule by the left is going to make us give up.
Whether we are being attacked for stating our opinion, like Juan Williams, a known liberal but certainly not a bigot, or Sarah Palin for swaying so many people to see the right path, we are getting to them. And all I can say is, Keep up the good work, Tea Partiers! Never stop fighting to take America back! ~ One Voice

Voting: You Can Make a Difference
I've heard talk that many people don't like their choices or think that by not voting they are making a statement. They are. And that statement is: Let's continue paying more taxes to the government; Let's pay more for health care; let's let Obama mount up our debt and pass it on to our children and their children.
You have to stand up and do the right thing. Vote and give voice to your beliefs. Obama is out there campaigning to do more of the same: higher taxes, less jobs, and more debt. He's making a mockery of his office by using his power to keep Americans unemployed. He wants us to be under government control. He's all about breaking America and not making it better.
You may think because this is not his re-election year, you don't need to vote. So are you happy with Nancy Pelosi as Speaker? Are you happy with senators and congressmen and women who kowtow to Obama's every wish? Only you can change it. Your vote will count. Exercise your right and vote in this election.
If you are dissatisfied with what we have, we need to change it. If you want to make them listen to the voice of Americans like yourself, you need to take that first step. And it begins with your vote.
If you want to give America a chance, you will vote for either the conservative on your ballot or the Republican. They can stop Obama's crazy spending and restore responsibility back in Washington. Vote for them and then ride herd on them; watch every decision they make and make them adhere to what we, the people, demand of them. Remember they work for us. We, the people, are the real power behind this country.
So do yourself and your country a favor and VOTE! Time is running out. You need to vote in this election and become part of the majority who wants to take America Back! Only you can make our leaders listen. You are the power. Use it!~ One Voice

Is The Fix In?
As we get closer to election day, more and more information is coming out about the elections. Nothing new there, right?
We are hearing about disenfranchised voters who are not being allowed to cast votes in our elections. It is even more heinous because these voters are overseas, fighting for their country.
That's right, our soldiers, many of them, are being denied their right to participate in our elections. The states of Colorado, Illinois, and New York, to name but a few, have been notified and chose to let the deadlines go by without taking action. Except for New York who asked for an extension and received it as Oct. 1. Then they let the date come and go without doing anything to assure our men and women in uniform could vote.
Let me just ask this question. If most of these voters were perceived to be liberals, would this be happening? It is a known fact that most military personnel vote conservative.
Is this yet another means by our government to "control" us? We are talking about hundreds of thousands of voters being denied their constitutional rights.
I hope everyone writes or calls their representatives and protests loudly on this one. Can you imagine if this happened when Obama was running? There would be no end to the investigations. Are we not entitled to the same consideration. After all, these are citizens who are being disenfranchised. It's time someone stood up for the military because we know we can't count on those in power now. ~

Down and Dirty Politics
The Democrats are running scared and starting to unravel. Desperation has caused them to go into attack mode because they cannot defend their voting records.
Obama is out there stumping and trying to throw everything at the GOP he can, including trying to suggest GOP campaign finances might be coming from overseas interests. Suggesting that GOP campaign contributions might be suspect. That's a good one! He's accusing the Republicans of breaking the law because they won't reveal the source of the Chamber of Commerce's contributions.
Gee, I don't remember Obama revealing his sources when he was raking in millions during his presidential campaign. He wouldn't reveal who his donors were. And we know George Soros was one of them. George Soros who has connections from all over the world.
Obama is used to Chicago politics. The dirtier the better. They've never played an honest game. Look at the records of the first Mayor Daly. Look at the miscreants that Obama hung out with prior to his election: Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers and others of questionable reputations.
This is modus operandi. He doesn't abide by the law. Look at what he's done to the state of Arizona; suing them for trying to protect their borders against thieves and murderers and drug smugglers.
Obama doesn't play fair. Accusing others takes the emphasis off of things he cannot possibly defend, like the 95,000 more jobs lost in September and a jobless rate of 9.6% and a slumping economy. Not to mention the health care bill that over 73% of Americans didn't want.
As we get closer to V-day, the attacks will no doubt get worse. What Republicans need to do is to keep talking positively about the jobs they will create and what they will do to turn things around.

Americans For Prosperity BusTour 10/9/2010
The Americans For Prosperity Bus Tour made a stop at Veteran's park on Harrison Avenue today. Among the speakers were Rebecca Heimlich, spokesperson, Chris Littleton, head of the Cincinnati Tea Party, and others who ramped up the crowd to "GET OUT THE VOTE."
There was also a literature pickup with volunteers delivering literature to various precints that contained information on the 1st District representative's voting record in Congress. While Americans For Prosperity is not affiliated with a party or candidate, they do provide an effort to inspire Ohioans to vote.
Next Saturday, October 16, another literature drop will be made at Clippard Industries on Colerain Avenue at 9:30 A.M. This event will be manned by the Northwest Tea Party. Invite your friends and family to help in getting the vote out. There will be pizza from La Rosa's following the drop.
On Monday evening, October 11th, the West Side Tea Party will be meeting at The Farm at 7:00 P.M. If you'd like to have dinner, they will be open at 6:00 P.M.
Get off the sofa, and get out and talk to your neighbors. Let them know how your representative voted. Make some phone calls and come to some tea party meetings. See for yourself how Americans are taking back their country.
No more will it be politics as usual. We can't take the election for granted. Gone are the days when you can count on your candidate winning just by voting. We need volunteers to get the word out and most of all, we need to let the candidates know what we expect of them.

There was also a literature pickup with volunteers delivering literature to various precints that contained information on the 1st District representative's voting record in Congress. While Americans For Prosperity is not affiliated with a party or candidate, they do provide an effort to inspire Ohioans to vote.
Next Saturday, October 16, another literature drop will be made at Clippard Industries on Colerain Avenue at 9:30 A.M. This event will be manned by the Northwest Tea Party. Invite your friends and family to help in getting the vote out. There will be pizza from La Rosa's following the drop.

Ballots for Boehner
Raised in the community of Reading, the oldest of 12 children, John Boehner came from humble beginnings (his father operated a cafe), John attended Moeller, was raised a Catholic and learned the values of family and a good education.
Now he is engaged in possibly the hardest campaign of his career. This year not only is he being bombarded by the Democrats, fellow Republicans and Tea Party affiliates are watching to see what he'll do if he is re-elected. Should the Moeller grad become Speaker of the House, he will be watched closely to see just how strictly he would adhere to the principles he has put forth in his Pledge to America.
Right now Tea Party followers are supporting the Republican Party. But if things don't fall into place as promised, they could revert to the Democrats next time or emerge with their own party.

Kickin' It for Kasich
Ohio has a big decision to make as it looks to electing a governor. And here are the questions. Do you want 2 more years of the same unemployment numbers? Do you want to see Strickland take more money from the paychecks of people who are still lucky enough to have jobs? You've seen the attack ads saying Kasich sent away jobs and yet Strickland is oddly silent about the stimulus money he was awarded to use for Ohio jobs - jobs that he ignored and sent the money to El Salvador. Is that the kind of state leader you can believe in? Do you want 2 more years of the same lackluster leadership and cutting of school teachers jobs?
I keep hearing how Obama and Strickland saved all these teacher jobs and yet, how come every teacher I know is pounding the pavement and unable to find teaching jobs?
That will change if we elect John Kasich. Yes, he may make some unpopular cuts, but he'll also get people back to work. He will work to make Ohio strong again while re-election for Strickland is a death knell for Ohio.

Making the Right Choice vs. Selfish Power Grubbers
The Christine O'Donnells and Joe Millers that won their primaries will be a fresh take on the standard status quo government problems. If they get a chance!
Rep. Murkowski, it seems, cannot take no for an answer. In a desperate bid to hang on to a job she doesn't want to give up, she has announced she will be a write in candidate on the November ballot. Not only does this move make her look like a fool, it skews the chances against the Republican party to retake the House. This ploy may very well affect the outcome and allow the Democrat to get in. May it also go on record that this candidate didn't even have the good manners to congratulate the winner of the primary, Joe Miller, a Tea Party candidate.
Down in the lower 48, in Delaware, the same thing has occurred. No congratulatory call. Perhaps he will go on to attempt the same fate, thereby sabotaging Ms. O'Donnell's campaign. As she goes on her way, campaigning, she has 2 foes to conquer: her Democratic opponent and the "old guard" republicans who don't want to allow a Tea Party candidate into their "special club."
Karl Rove can't resist the opportunity to denigrate this woman every chance he gets. He is so busy telling us what her faults are that he forgets about his own questionable reputation.
I suppose, rather than let the new kid on the block win, it is better to concede to the Democrats. I'm beginning to wonder if the republicans and democrats are working together to keep outsiders from entry into their "club."
What happened to doing what is right for the country? What happened to going after the greater good? Are these egoist snobs so self-centered that they can sacrifice doing the right thing for holding onto the power that comes with their office?
Fellows, remember that you work for us. It is "we, the people" who pay your salaries and who put you into the "club."
I hope everyone who possibly can will back the new people. It's time to send the "old guard" packing and get some fresh blood in Washington.

After the behavior of some of the republican organizations, I think that day can't be too far off. Both republicans and democrats seem incapable of listening to the will of the people. Perhaps the new breed will. There's only one way to find out: Support them financially, if possible, and vote for them where ever possible. Our future depends on it. We can no longer trust the tried and the untrue. Career politicians must be a thing of the past. God Bless America! ~ One Voice

Tea Party Victories
Congratulations to all the victors in the Republican primaries held today. This was the last one before the election day in November.
In probably the biggest upset, Ms. O'Donnell, a Tea Party candidate, won in Delaware in the race for Joe Biden's former Senate seat. But instead of offering congratulations for her win, the first words out of the NSRC rep's mouth was, "We will not support her candidacy." Talk about sour grapes! All of the Republican talking heads were outraged that she won. Karl Rove was spitting and fuming, suggesting that he didn't find her "a very smart candidate." What?
They are worried they won't take the House in November. Well guess what? I have a feeling that Ms. O'Donnell will win. And she won't be the only Tea Party candidate that wins.
Americans are sick of the "good old boy" network. We want people in the House and Senate who will work for the people. No more electing representatives who will sell out to the highest bidder. No more supporting candidates who tell us one thing and then do another.
I am so ashamed of the GOP right now. We are voting for conservative candidates, not the business as usual type professional politicians. We want people in Washington who listen to their constituents and vote like we want them to. We're sick of pork; we don't want 50,000 page bills that no one reads. They've had their chances to make things right. Talk is cheap and the rinos are doing a lot of talking and we're not seeing any action.
We're taking back America and they better pay heed to what we're saying. Go Tea Party conservatives! ~ One Voice

A Reflection on 9/11
Today is an emotional day for me.
I'm not going to talk about the Quran burning.
Nor the sacrilegious efforts to build a mosque so near ground zero in NYC.
Today, on this the 9th anniversary of the horrendous attack on our country, I am going to pause and offer prayers for those victims and their families who are still coming to grips with their losses.
Seeing all the reminders of that senseless tragedy, only brings more anger and emotion to the surface. Hearing Taps played in NYC against a backdrop of ruin, sends shivers up my spine.
We must never forget that day; not that we could. Watching those families call out the names of their loved ones and total strangers that they didn't know before 9/11 happened, is a brisk reminder of what price they are paying. And will continue to pay as they come to terms with the tragedy that forever changed their lives and the lives of all Americans.
While I didn't know anyone who was in the towers that day, I feel deeply about this event and nine years hasn't lessened those feelings. The terrorists may have destroyed those buildings, but they will never destroy the spirit that is America. We are a resilient people. We've come through tragedies before: the American Revolution (another lengthy war); the Civil War that pitted brother against brother; the bombing of Pearl Harbor; the assassination of 5 presidents; all horrific times in our country's history.
We rise up and unite together to defeat our enemies because we are The United States of America. And let no man, Muslim, Jew or Christian, think that he can destroy this country's spirit.
We take pride in the band of brothers and sisters that we became on 9/12. Sadly, a lot of that spiritual healing has disappeared and we've gone back to the divisive way that we knew before 9/11 happened. That is a sad fact and one not to be proud of.
We have soldiers trying to take apart the Taliban that once protected Usama Bin Laden and his evil Al Qaeda network. And we can only pray that one day he will pay for the atrocities he committed in the name of religion on 9/11.
Most of us know and believe in God and in our hearts, we know that God is a just God. No one believes that a religion's main tenet is to kill other human beings. Life is God's greatest gift and only He has the right to take it away.
God bless America and the families impacted by the 9/11 tragedy. May they find peace and relief from their pain. ~ One Voice

Secular Progressives: The Taking of America
Secular progressives are trying to steal this country and make us part of the great world order. SP's, or far left radicals, funded by George Soros, the money man behind movements like moveon.org, the push to legalize the sale of narcotics, and erase religion from the government, are behind this push to change the face of America forever. In cahoots with Soros and his brainwashed supporters is Peter Lewis, owner of Progressive Insurance. He backs the plan to legalize drugs. It seems fitting that he would endorse this program, since he's already spent time behind bars because of illegal drug use.
Groups like this who support the far left agenda with tons of money pray on people who want to change the country by ridding us of the precepts that formed this great nation. They want a government controlled society where there is redistribution of wealth, only government regulated employment, and take away our freedoms. Sound familiar? It's called communism.
Do you think the Tea Parties represent violence? Have you heard of anarchy resulting from these peaceful marches to let America know we want to stop this madness? No, but you will hear the far left blaming the tea party for the increase in violence in this country. When the truth is the far left is terribly afraid of this freedom movement and the idea of "taking back America," because such an effort will interfere with their plans. The Tea Party movement is viewed by the leftists as a threat; they are terrified that America will wake up and understand what they are doing before the takeover is ocmplete.
But Americans are not sold on their ideology. No, we are not as stupid as they hoped we would be. Or as Bill O'Reilly says, "we're not Kool-Aid drinkers."
When an idea sounds too good to be true, be wary. Because it usually is. Ask yourself "What is behind it?"
Did it all start in the sixties with the "peace" movement with the revolution in this country against war? There are those of us who remember war as a noble thing. When the boys marched off to war in WWII, it was noble. We were proud to kick the butts of Japan and Germany and free the world of its oppressors. Sure war is ugly; people die and that is the tragedy of it. But you have to look at the greater good.
Then Vietnam came and Americans, instead of supporting our troops, denigrated them. Some called them "baby killers." The soldiers came home to their families to be spit on and ridiculed for their service. This was criminal. Again, activities spurred on by the SP's. We all know that war is an ugly thing, but sometimes we have to fight for what is right.
If we hadn't fought for our freedom, we might still be owing allegience to the British monarchy, or Hitler, or Tojo. Sometimes our countrymen can let us down. I understand that. But to turn over all our hard won freedoms to the SP's is wrong.
Now, I'm all for advancement and for doing what is right. But when did it become right for the SP's to dictate when we can pray and where? When did it become right for them to dicate what our schools can teach or print in our textbooks? When did it become right to break the law in the name of democracy? When did we have to ask permission to salute the flag?
Americans need to question what is going on around them before it is too late. What does it mean when a culture is so active in promoting minorities and yet it can let women be demeaned over and over again? How can we cry racism against black or white or yellow or Native American and yet not see racism against women?
It's time, America, to adhere to the principles of our founders. This nation was built on the Judeo-Christian ethics that gave us great men like Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, George Washington and John and Samuel Adams, great men, not perfect, but great, wise men who forged America into the beginnings of a great nation.
How sad must they be to see what has become of the country they fought so hard to secure by fighting that long revolution to secure our independence.
Don't let the SP's win. Fight back to bring this country back to greatness. And the first step begins with YOU - in less than 2 months. Join in the fight to take America back. Remember the words of John Paul Jones who said "I have not yet begun to fight." ~ One Voice

Restoring America Rally
Congratulations to Glen Beck for his tribute to honor the heroes of this country. In a beautiful sentiment to this country, Glen Beck not only honored the founders of this nation, he honored the memory of Martin Luther King on the 47th anniversary of his famed "I Have A Dream" speech. One of his guests was the niece of King, Dr. Alveda King. She gave a rousing speech that stirred the crowd. Close to half a million people came to Beck's tribute, people from all over the world. They listened to words of faith, inspiration and joy. People, Black, White, and Asian joined together leaving politics at home.
Listening to a Vietnam veteran lead the closing prayer brought tears to the eyes of even the strongest and hardiest people, when Beck related the story of how his face was injured when he took a grenade blast rather than have anyone else be hurt. When he wept into his pillow and turned away, his face remained in the pillow and he only had one eye left. He turned to God to heal and he has healed in mind and body and his prayer was very moving. We heard voices raised in praise to God and in song, as black and white alike sang "Amazing Grace" to the accompaniment of the bagpipes.
Following, at the end, were song tributes from several country western singers. A beautiful day, a beautiful tribute, and beautiful words to honor this nation.
Farther away, in the distance, Rev. Al Sharpton's group gathered in tribute to Martin Luther King, but his words were not for the healing of the country. No, they were cruel and divisive. You have to ask yourself, why does a man of God continue to denigrate and divide his people against white people. And yet he's not considered a racist?
Every report that I have seen so far is trying to divide and denigrate what was done in D.C. today. But I forget: these are the people who ridicule the right and their belief in God. These are the people who believe in abortion and the taking of innocent lives; these are the kind of people who want to keep racism alive.

God is surely reigning down blessings upon this man who so eloquently asked his attendees to carry the message of faith to the world. ~One Voice

Yes, the Islamists have every right to their religion and to build a mosque legally where they want. But don't you find it strange that it has to be close to the sight of the most heinous attack in modern history?
Humanely, it is not the right thing to do. They already have 30 mosques in the state of New York. If they want to build another one to worship in, that is fine, but the location is not. It's like thumbing their nose at the survivors and the families of this tragic event. If the Imam is intent on using this site for the mosque, you have to wonder why it must be there, right in the shadow of the 9/11 massacre. Is it possible that they want it as a memorial to the men who destroyed the towers?
No one disputes their right to build a mosque and to worship as their religion compels them to do. But what about the rights of the victims families who view this area as a burial ground for their dead? What about their rights? Do they not have the right to share their disgust at the Mayor for okaying this venture? Their wounds are still bleeding; it is an emotional tug at their hearts as they try to work through their grief and misery and live their lives, forever changed by the murderous acts of 19 men.
Can this Imam not understand why they do not want that mosque anywhere near the hallowed ground where their loved ones died such an unspeakable death? It will be a constant reminder of what happened. A permanent thorn piercing their hearts, already damaged by the tragedy of that unforgettable day.
If this is indeed to be a place of worship, why does it matter if it is in another location? If the Imam is a man of faith, he would understand the heartfelt anguish the victims families are going through and try to ease their torturous burden.
Time may ease the burdens somewhat, but the memories are still there, the pain still aches for those who were taken away by acts of those madmen.
The time has come for the Mayor to back down and give the Islamists an alternative that is less hurtful to the New Yorkers who lost family members on 9/11. Ten years hasn't yet passed since this horrible event that shaped and changed lives forever, and yet he can sweep it all away by saying that we need to move on, to allow the mosque to be built to heal the city. But all he has done, is stirred up more feelings of angst.
Nice going, Mr. Mayor! How are your chances for re-election? Oh, that's right, you were supposed to have stepped down after 2 terms, yet you bought your way back in. How could I possibly think you'd be noble enough to understand the pain and suffering of the families left devastated by the tragedy of 9/11?
The mosque needs to be moved. Some say that it will never be built because no construction crew will work on this building. Maybe that is true. Only time will tell. Governor Patterson is trying to offer an alternative location. Let's hope that the Islamists agree.

Insurance Companies Hiking Rates
The promises of cheaper insurance rates were a pipe dream. Insurance companies are raising their rates astronomically to prepare for the hits they will take when Obamacare goes into effect in 2014.
Yesterday Bill O'Reilly of Fox News stated he received his insurance bill and it jumped up $2100. He didn't mention which insurance company but according to his facts, they are all going to stick it to the people in advance of Obamacare so they can get back all the money they will lose in the future. He stated his yearly bill will be 20,000 dollars to insure 4 people. Like he said, "I can afford it, but what about the people who can't?"
Many Americans will be without health care. More and more people will be forced onto the government rolls. And, as more and more doctors refuse to accept Medicaid, the ER's will become even more overcrowded as people start using the ER's as a clinic. Obama wanted a public option and it looks like he's going to get it. Was that the plan all along? Force people onto the government plan whether they like it or not.
As this country becomes more and more socialized and we copy the Canadian/English health care plans, we soon won't be able to recognize the America that used to be the greatest country in the world.
Where did we go wrong? I'll tell you. The country was so against the Republicans and George Bush, they opted to take the other road and elected a Socialist. His smooth talking style fooled everyone from college kids to middle-aged America to the Media. He promised change and boy, did we get it. Change from middle/centrist beliefs to the far left agenda. If you've ever listened to Michael Savage, he calls liberalism "a mental disorder." Mr. Teleprompter spoke of change and the truth is, when he gets through with us, that's all we'll have left: change.
He is about to subject the middle class with the largest tax hike ever when he lets the Bush tax cuts expire. And all this talk about not raising taxes on the lower income people is just that, talk!
We are already being taxed through the whole insurance mess that he has created. That is how they get around not having a public option. They will say, "Oh, we didn't get the public option." It's all smoke and mirrors, folks. It's just disguised with a different name.
You may remember that I've said Obama is getting ready to "fix" his re-election by legalizing the Hispanics so they will vote for him. Even after the ACORN scandal, he is busy "fixing" it so even more people are registered by allowing Job and Family Services organizations to register voters. How can this be legal? Government employees who are handing out food stamps and welfare and saying "Don't forget to vote for Obama. He's giving you a helping hand. Now you have to help him."
If he wanted to help this country, Obama would stop allowing the states to send work out of the country, when we need jobs so desperately. But, instead he encourages his democratic governors to send work overseas, while Americans fight to meet their bills and stay in their homes. He wants us to be at the mercy of the government. That's all part of the master plan.
Why isn't he stopping the big insurance companies from giving their execs millions of dollars while allowing these companies to raise their rates so normal people cannot afford to secure insurance for their families without taking out a loan? And why is he protecting union leaders pensions while letting the workers lose more and more jobs and their own pensions?
George Bush was accused of protecting big business and allowing them to send jobs away. How is Obama any different? The comparisons are justified.
Don't get me wrong. While I didn't agree with George Bush on everything, I know in my heart that we would not be as bad off if he were still president. That's another trick of Obama's. He's still blaming Bush 2 years after he took office. What does that say about his integrity?
The mess that this country is in is on one man: Barack Hussein Obama. And it's just beginning. If Obamacare is not repealed, we will witness the destruction of the greatest medical system in the world. Let's not let him get away with it.

The Public Option: Health Care Revisited
I thought it was over. Health Care passed, much to my regret, and since our wonderful Congress didn't get exactly what they wanted, they're going to bring it up again. The Public Option, that was stricken from the original bill, is surfacing yet again thanks to the die hard democrats who will not be denied any chance to tax Americans to death.
I guess the thirteen trillion dollar deficit wasn't high enough to suit them. They haven't bankrupted this nation yet; but give them time, they will. The idiots who raised this latest ploy have the temerity to say "It will save us money." How dumb do they think we are?
They are determined to drive insurance companies out of business, thereby, taking over another industry so they can control us all. "We're going to save billions of dollars to pay down the deficit." If you buy that, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you.
It never stops with these tax and spend thrift democrats. Spend, spend, spend, that's all they know how to do. They know that defeat is waiting for them in November, so they're going to ram through every piece of legislation that they want between now and then. And, apparently, there's nothing that can be done to stop them.
The government cannot manage any program they have created. And yet, this is the be all and end all of insurance plans. It will save the country from the evil big business-run insurance companies.
I got news for Pelosi and Reid. All of these laws you are passing will be repealed in the new year. Americans are sick and tired of Congress not listening to us. You cannot continue to ignore the will of the people. We do not want this plan; we did not want the last one either. And just because President Obama will still be in office doesn't mean he can veto the repeals. The House can override his vetoes. Because by that time, the Republicans will once again be in charge. And Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Reid will be but a bad memory.
They have shamed the Capitol with their shenanigans and plots to dismantle this country. It's time to show them who's really in charge: the people. ~ One Voice

Complacency Among the Republicans?
Are the Republicans merely biding their time until November's elections? Sure of a landslide victory and visions of ruling the House and Senate once again, are they counting their chickens too soon?
Sitting back and doing nothing to block Democratic legislation is not the way to inspire loyalty among their constituents. Do they think that because they are incumbents that they will be a shoe in? They had better be watching what has happened so far. Very few incumbents are getting back in. People are sick and tired of business as usual in the Washington circle. By letting the Democrats have whatever they want, they are only buying trouble. This latest ploy may very well backfire in the end.
I'd like to believe that the Republicans are smarter than that. But to lie back and do nothing, making no effort to stop the Obama machine, may be viewed by their constituents are a big mistake.
With the Tea Party revolution putting forth more candidates for office, there is no guarantee that Republicans won't face the same fate as their esteemed colleagues across the aisle. Not all Republicans are winning their races. Hint: Don't take anything for granted. When you least expect it, defeat can be snatched from the hands of victory.

NAACP Takes on the Tea Party
It's amazing the slings and arrows that are flying back and forth at the Tea Party. Charges of racism spread across the country like wildfire in a summer drought. The head of the NAACP is leading the race. Mr. Jealous (I wonder, is he?) is busy hurling accusations of racism and yet, no proof is given; no offenses cited.
We keep hearing about that incident in which a member of Congress was spit upon, but no witnesses ever saw it; no pictures or films ever surfaced showing the incident.
Granted, when you have a large group, you are bound to have a few radicals spring up, and those who do anything to denigrate persons of a certain color or religion, should be punished. But the majority of Tea Party advocates are wholesome Americans who want to return the country to its greatness and escape the far left thinking that put us in this mess of massive debt. And when questioned about the apparent racism within the NAACP, Mr. Jealous vehemently denies any such thing exists.
Not to call Mr. Jealous a liar; but he seems to be stretching the truth a bit. In any large group there are radical members who, by today's terminology, would be called racists. It's a fact of life.
The NAACP was founded to help the black people who were oppressed; the down and out black families who were persecuted and too poor to pull themselves up and get themselves out of the ghetto. The NAACP doesn't have much to complain about today. They are becoming stoic with no where to go. The militant black groups have taken over, unfortunately, and are getting all the attention in the black community.
Some of them are racists; those who stand and block the polls and prevent citizens from voting by acts of intimidation. But if a white person claimed those blocking the poll entrances were racists, the white people would be condemned.
Another example of the double standard when it comes to racism in this country. And those on the far left are quick to jump to their defense. No one can disagree with the left or we're called racists. So I guess that makes all conservatives racists. If that is the case, I am proud to be one.
Much is being heard from the New Black Panthers, the ones who intimidated the white people, wielding their nightsticks and threatening people, trying to keep them from voting in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, in 2008. The Department of Justice had a viable case against these men, but were told to drop the case. It is said this decree came directly from the White House with the edict: we will not prosecute blacks.(Already 2 whistelblowers are calling for an investigation and have quit their posts over this scandal.)
At the end of August, there will be a gathering in Washington D.C. to celebrate our founding fathers and the heroes this country has known, black and white, German, Jew, Native American. It is not a political event and yet, the NAACP and other black groups are trying to turn the event into a political statement. They have announced they will be there. They are incensed because this happens to be the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King's march of freedom. According to them, we have the audacity to plan an event on the same day of the historic march on Washington. How sad this world has become.
For as long as we live, we will never be able to hold our events on any days when Martin Luther King or any other black leader did something. If we do, we will forever be identified as racists.
This is not the America I grew up loving. This is not the America I was taught to revere and honor. It's come down to a name calling society and we are not getting better. We are getting worse. Shame on this America! Shame on all those who hate America, yet continue to get rich on the backs of their brothers; shame on all those who think that violence and brother killing brother is the answer; and shame on all those men who want to destroy this country and turn it into a third world cesspool. That is not the America I want, and I will fight until I draw my last breath to keep that from happening. ~ Aunt Millie

Al Quaeda Attack Kills 74 in Uganda
Amid talk of the NASA chief's new mission being to build up relations with the Muslims, here comes another attack from Al Quaeda. In a restaurant in Uganda, people were watching the final World Cup game when the restaurant was blown up.
It doesn't matter how much dialogue Obama pushes; no matter how many attempts at peace, when you are dealing with terrorists, you cannot reason with them; they are murderers.
I couldn't believe it when I heard that the newly appointed NASA chief's main responsibility would be to work to acknowledge the Muslims in fields of science and technology. Did you ever hear of a Muslim scientist furthering travel in space? Did you ever hear of scientific efforts going forward in Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan?
These are the places that are built on the sand of the desert or mountainous rocks where people live in caves. Where will they be launching rockets?
Every day more bits of news trickle out of the White House that make me wonder how on earth this man ever got elected. Oh, yes, I forgot, we know how he got elected. With subterfuge and questionable groups like Acorn registering anyone and everyone to vote, saying things like "Oh, we got to vote for Obama." I actually heard this registration process happening in downtown Cincinnati. No qualifying documents were asked for. No registration or tax information was flashed. Just signatures going on the forms without any checking or verifying whether or not these people were citizens. By now we've pretty much seen all the exposes on Acorn. We know a great many members of that organization were manipulating the system.
But I digress. Ever since Obama was elected, our country has been put in harm's way, both economically and physically. While this Al Quaeda attack didn't happen on our soil, Americans were injured or killed. And our leader still wants to pat them on the back and be friends?
This is the third such attack since he took office or is it more? Perhaps I've lost count. You can't reason with terrorists, Mr. President. Terrorists are out to destroy this country. Or is that what you want too, Mr. Obama?

We've heard a lot of blaming George Bush for everything from the economy to hurricanes. Here's one thing I do credit George Bush for: after 9/11 he kept us safe. You don't hear Obama giving him credit for that.
So the NASA chief, Bolden, will work on cozying up to the Muslims. And Obama will continue to apologize for the United States to anyone who will listen.

I've heard it said that people who hate this country are running it now. Perhaps that's true. Perhaps their aim is to destroy us from the inside out. We've heard a lot of blaming George Bush for everything from the economy to hurricanes. Here's one thing I do credit George Bush for: after 9/11 he kept us safe. You don't hear Obama giving him credit for that.
So the NASA chief, Bolden, will work on cozying up to the Muslims. And Obama will continue to apologize for the United States to anyone who will listen.
November is coming. Armageddon for the Democrats is at hand. As for me, I cannot wait. ~One Voice

Big Brother is Watching
Eric Holder has said that the federal government will be watching Arizona's handling of the new immigration law to make sure they they don't engage in profiling. Here comes big brother trying to tell the states what they can and cannot do.
This blog has a list of the first ten amendments to the Constitution and if you look closely, the tenth amendment states "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the State, are reserved to the States respectively or to the people."
If the government would not act to enforce the laws already passed at the federal level and the state saw fit to enact their own law to protect, and defend their state, can the government threaten their actions with a lawsuit?
The Constitution laid down the laws of this nation so that the government could not take away the rights and freedom of our country. It was a means of protection, divined by men much more intelligent and wiser than those who are attempting ti desecrate this precious document.
Isn't it amazing? We've just passed this nation's 234th birthday, and right on the heels of the celebrations, the Attorney General can go on television and announce his intentions to sue a state for trying to enact a law to save the people from thieves and vandals who threaten their safety in their own homes. More and more illegal aliens are crossing the border with guns and drugs, determined to get into this country.
All of us had ancestors who came to this country looking for a better life. And no one begrudges people in search of a better world - as long as they follow the rules and enter this country legally. As it is now, we are having to contend with more and more illegals who come here, either to work or to rob, pillage and kill Americans if they get in their way.
How many illegals who are guilty of violent crimes are sitting in our jails right now? We feed, clothe and house millions of them who have no other thought than to injure the people who live along the borders because these people dared to defend their land from drug runners and gang members. And how many terrorists are entering that we don't even know about who want to launch jihadist attacks on Americans?
Without border patrols, and the enforcement of laws to protect our citizens, how do we stop all of it?
Big Bother is out there watching us. The government we have today is run by no better men than those who creep across our borders wishing to do harm to Americans. If we let them get away with this, how long before they censor our words, or take our guns away, or tell us we can't go to church anymore?
It can happen just like that. We lose our economy and the country has no money or no food and we can very easily find the government taking over our lives. That's how Hitler took over Germany.
It can happen anywhere in the world, if we let it. The time has come to guard our freedoms from those who would oppress it. One day they'll tell us they're protecting the country by guarding what we say on the Internet and the next day, they'll tak the Internet away because it can be used against the United States.
Guard those freedoms while we can. And beware of Big Brother. We need to let stand up to those who want to denigrate the United States. Read those documents that were once so important to this country. Read about our forefathers and what these brilliant men did for us, and never forget the true meaning of America. ~ One Voice

Double Standards
The government is suing Arizona for passing an immigration law. But they will not prosecute the two Black Panther members who intimidated white voters in the 2008 elections to prevent them from voting. This is clearly breaking the law.
Have you noticed that there seem to be two sets of laws for the Obama administration? Talk about racism!
There is clearly a double standard when it comes to Democrats and Republicans in office. If George W. Bush were in charge and he refused to prosecute those Black Panthers, all hell would have broken loose. The media would have been all over it. But no one is saying a word about this. When it was revealed that Chris Dodd took a sweet deal from Countrywide for favors, was he punished? No, it was pretty much a couple of comments on the evening news and just as quickly pushed into the background. When Tom DeLay was accused of misdeeds, his story was plastered all over every paper and TV station in the land. His career was ruined and he was threatened with jail time. To this day, nothing has been proven. And, in Chris Dodd's case, he conveniently decided to retire, not because his career was in ruins or that he was being prosecuted, but because he knew he had no chance of winning the next election.
Again, two sets of rules are in play.
It is a sad state of affairs that the people of this country let things like this happen and don't fight back against this kind of treachery.
You may remember a little while back that Nancy Pelosi called the CIA liars. Nothing came of that. Had it been a republican it would still be playing on the news until retribution was dealt out.
It is time that all Americans demand accountability equally among party representatives. If someone breaks the law, they need to pay for their crime.
By the same token, if any citizen commits a crime, he is arrested, tried, and serves time if he is found guilty. It is against the law to intimidate anyone to keep them from voting, black or white. It has nothing to do with race and everything to do with the law.
The Black Panthers broke the law and should be punished. Is Obama going to let every black person who commits a crime, escape justice?
All Arizona was doing was passing a law, just like the federal law on immigration that the government refuses to enforce that is already on the books. The only reason this is becoming an issue is because Obama wants to "legalize" all illegals so he can get their vote in the next election.
It's called Obama politics and he intends to win no matter what. Americans need to wake up and see him for what he is. It's time to stop the double standards of the political machine. I'm not just talking about Democrats either. Both sides have their faults. And it's up to us, as Americans, to stop this tide of unfairness. ~One Voice

Michael Steele: Should He Stay or Go
Words spill out often before we can stop them. Before we think what they mean or who they will impact. Michael Steele's statements about the Afghanistan War were inappropriate to say the least. In saying that this war couldn't be won does a disservice to the men and women in uniform who are fighting to win. No soldier wants to hear that he's fighting for a lost cause.
Quickly thoughts of Vietnam jump into our heads. Nine years later and still fighting how can we not think of the quagmire of Vietnam? But to say to these brave young men and women that they are wasting their time; fighting a battle that will never be won is a ridiculous thing to say. Vietnam was a political war; and we now have a leader in place who won't let that happen, General Petreus. If those in power try to manipulate him, he will likely follow General McChrystal into retirement.
Many people are calling for Steele to step down as chairman of the Republican Party. He has a few advocates who are standing up for him, but the rancor in the party is growing. Can the Republicans afford to keep him as the election time is edging closer?
Can the Republicans survive the negative impact that Steele's comments could have on them? John McCain was interviewed and was quick to announce he was a "Reagan republican." Obviously an attempt to win votes away from his competition, J. D. Hayworth, as their primary grows closer. No one is fooled by such ploys.
Can we forgive the negative comments and gaffes from the chairman any easier than we do the gaffes of Joe Biden? Excuses are made continually by the behavior of the Vice President while Michael Steele is being hung out to dry.
I don't excuse these remarks, but are they any worse than "big f------ deal"? If I thought for one minute that one soldier would be placed in harm's way by his remarks, I would be the first one to demand he step down.
The fact that he put his foot in his mouth is pretty much standard operating procedure for the administration we have. It's happened early enough in the election season to be gone and forgotten by the time November rolls around. Of course, if the Obama run media has anything to do with it, they will continually bring this gaffe up to denigrate the Republicans.
It all comes down to the good of the party. Should he step down for the good of the GOP? If he doesn't and the party holds together and Republicans win big in November, this will all be forgotten. If the Democrats get back in, then, indeed, it will prove to have been a big _________deal.~ One Voice

The Declaration of Independence
When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

Illegal Alien Reform Legislation
Barack Obama began his move to secure the elections today. His speech today proved what we've been saying all along: he will use amnesty to secure the elections in his favor.
If you watched his expression and that half smile sneer as he looked into the camera, you could see his insincerity. He doesn't give a damn about illegals and the plight of America. The only reason he wants to now talk about border security and amnesty is so he can use the illegals to help him win elections. He doesn't have a sympathetic bone in his body for these people.
Arizona's law is about to take effect later this month and up until this time, he's given no inclination to engage; no effort for the federal government to do anything. He reluctantly provided 1200 National Guard members for the border, not even half of what was asked for.
Representatives of the federal government say that this law will result in lawsuits for discrimination; that racial profiling will be used. The law is clear that police cannot stop anyone and question their citizenship UNLESS they break the law and are investigating a crime.
Again, Obama is merely using the illegals to save his job. It's just another example of using his Chicago style of politics to ram through yet another piece of legislation that America doesn't want. The Arizona law stands because it is what the majority of people in that state want.
It looks like Obama will be going on another whirlwind tour to convince the public that amnesty is the answer; worker programs are the answer. Dividing families is not the answer to this dilemma.
Worker programs will not work because when the job is finished, the workers won't leave and go back to Mexico or wherever else they've migrated from. In the meantime, the illegals will continue to drain the coffers of Social Security and Medicare. And Americans who have worked for those benefits, will be denied them because those funds will be all used up long before they were supposed to run out.
Watch for this new legislation to be in place before November. It's his last ditch effort to hold on to the House and Senate for his party. ~ One Voice

The Hiring and Firing of a General
In the war of political opinion, Obama is playing hard ball. He's fighting for his political life. As the polls decline even further, he rises to the occasion by firing his lead General in the Afghanistan War. He accepted General McChrystal's resignation and instead of lecturing him and forgiving his indiscretion, he accepts and fires him. And immediately replaces him with General Petreus.
Obama was forced into a corner by McChrystal's behavior, by his disagreeing with the Commander in Chief in print. And as the pundits have observed, He had no choice but to let the good general go.
But what was McChrystal thinking? To be so open with a hack reporter, so openly pro-leftist, without the usual "off the record" in place, of course, the reporter was going to print what he said. Bad judgment all around. And so, the General is gone. And in many ways, this may be a good move for him. He's been there for 9 years. Now he can move on with his life and put the war behind him.
General Petreus has been named to succeed as Chief Commander in this lengthy war. While this is the longest war the American people have ever been engaged in, let's not forget how we ended up there. And that reason, is still at large. Perhaps the military has given up hope of ever capturing Bin Laden or maybe he's already dead. Now, the man once ridiculed by the left as "General Betray Us" is promoted to carry on the campaign. With Obama calling the shots and promising to pull out the military by June, 2011, aren't his hands tied militarily? Is it Vietnam all over again? Can we win or will the political leaders of our country play the same seesaw battle that prevented Vietnam from becoming a victory?
Only time will tell. But, truth be told, Obama will not tolerate what he considers to be insubordination. It's his way or the highway as General McChrystal found out. To disagree with Obama is tantamount to treason. We'll see if General Petreus fares any better under Obama's tutleage.

Oil Upon The Waters
Who would have thought that the Gulf oil spill would still be spewing after more than a month? It is easy to lay blame on BP or the government. But instead of finger pointing, shouldn't BP and the government be working hand in hand to fix the problem?
Instead of charging BP with criminal offenses, why isn't the administration putting every agency at BP's disposal to fix this situation?
There are many questions to ask after the matter has been resolved, but until then, what is wrong with working together for a common goal? My heart breaks for the wildlife and the destruction of our landscape. But where are the outcries from the wildlife agencies? Whenever we have natural disasters, like the Haiti earthquakes, America rushes forth, holding telethons to raise money for aiding those in need. Who is stepping forth now to help those who cannot help themselves; those who are mired in the oil and are dying by the thousands. All I hear is silence. Where is PETA? Where is the National Wildlife Society?
As the people of the south are once again devastated, their careers dealt a knockout blow that they may never recover from, where is the outrage? Where are the celebrities offering to raise money for them? It's very quiet out there.
America is busy laying blame to the oil companies and Obama stands around looking at bubbles of oil rushing up our pristine beaches with no passion for what is happening to our country. All he can think about is blaming the oil company.
They do have questions to answer, to a lot of people and the blame is squarely on their shoulders, but let's resolve the problem; plug the leak before we start the seesaw game of whose fault the leak is. Let's save our wildlife, our sea creatures, before they are depleted by yet another man-made disaster.
My question is this: Is there no one in this whole United States of America, no engineers, no scientists, who know how to plug a leak under water? Is there no means of vaccuuming up the oil? Granted, the leak is miles deep, and whose fault is that? Obama has to bear the responsiblity of setting the rules for off shore drilling. The environmentalists who brought the off shore specifications have made it impossible for the resolution to this problem and must share in some of the blame. If the leak were closer to the surface, we know if would have been repaired by now and the devastation would not have been as bad.
The answer is not to stop off shore drilling. The answer is setting laws and guidelines that will allow the extraction of oil without putting our shores and the wildlife therein in jeopardy.
And yes, to find better fuel options. They want to make cars that don't use oil as fuel. But there are other options as well: clean coal technology. President Bush brought this up but no one would listen. Yes, it would take time, but if they had started 4 or 5 years ago, we'd be halfway there by now.
There is enough blame to go around. But will America learn from this? Let's hope so. We have received a blow just as devastating as the attacks of 9/11. Will the people of Lousiana, Mississippi. Alabama, and Florida recover? Only time will tell. The seafood industry has been dealt a crippling blow. It will take years to recover from his tragedy, if we ever do. ~ One Voice

Obama: Unpatriotic American?
How sad that it has come down to this: Obama is going home to be with friends on Memorial Day weekend. He's thumbing his nose at the military, the Gold Star Mom's and all that this country reveres so he can be with friends in Chicago. Shove off the laying of the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (let Vice President Biden handle it. Maybe he won't catch his foot in the wreath and fall down, or worse, insert his size 12's in his big mouth again. Shove the Gold Star Mom's breakfast off on Biden, after all, what does Obama care if they lost their sons or daughters in the war. God forbid he should have to stand up there and pretend once more that he cares about the military and their service to America.
Congratulations, Mr. President, you will be the first President to snub the military by ignoring them on this special day. This alone should serve as grounds for impeachment. After all these men and women gave their lives, all that is required of Obama is to give a little time; time he would much rather spend with friends instead of the military, who he despises.
How obvious can it be? Shame of you, Mr Obama, for ignoring the men and women who gave so much for so many and you can't give them a day of honor because you want to party with friends.
It's a sure bet that this slap in the face to the military will not be ignored. The hatred this man has for this country is so apparent. He announced he's sending troops to the borders, not because he believes in the cause but because he was shamed into it by members of the Senate. They asked for 6,000 and he's giving them 1,200.
So while the rest of the nation is watching the Memorial Day festivities, listening to the strains of the military theme songs, our hears swelling with pride, Obama will be missing, enjoying himself in his home town with his friends. I wonder if Bill Ayers and Reverand Jeremiah Wright will be partying with Obama. Aren't they his friends, too? Remember, Mr. President, you are judged by the company you keep. Personally, I'd much rather hang out with brave men and women who stands tall and defend their country than mingle with anarchists and communists. I'd rather take pride in my country and salute the flag than pay tribute to a man whose only aim is to destroy the country we love. Long live America! Long live the men and women of the military! And God Bless the Gold Star Mothers for their love and sacrifice.

The Making of a Hero Out of a Terrorist
The nation's newspapers, in particularly, the New York Times and The New York Post, are running all kinds of stories, not to mention the leftist media, about the latest terrorist to try to attack the city of New York, in which they are trying to turn an enemy into a victim.
It is a sad day in America when those who attempt to kill Americans are gifted with a kind of heroism. The attempt to make excuses for Faisal Shahzad's behavior is asinine. "He had a foreclosed home." He couldn't make his house payments, but he could afford to make 13 flights to Pakistan? Gee, we really should feel sorry for him. He became a citizen (naturalized) a few months ago. Was that so he could slip under the radar? Maybe.
The leftist media idealogues are quick to make excuses for another terrorist's attempts to kill Americans. This is asinine behavior on the part of the Media. But why should we be surprised when we have a leader who refuses to admit they are enemy combatants who continue to attack us?
It's only by dumb luck that this individual was caught. Because of the vigilance of a former Viet Nam vet street vendor who was paying attention many lives were saved. I don't hear the Media giving thanks where thanks is due.
This man should have been flagged as a suspicious long ago, yet Homeland Security didn't find him until this past week? On a "do not fly" list and no one notices until the cameras nabbed him as he fled the scene of the attempted strike?
But to hear the Media tell it, this man was the victim; his house was in foreclosure; he was under a lot of pressure. Do these idiotic Media types ever hear themselves speak? Can they be this stupid?
You have to wonder. When the police and FBI finally started moving on this, they were able to nab him, although he was already on a plane, headed for his escape to Dubai and onto Pakistan where cohorts were found waiting for him. This whole episode should have never gone this far.
Poor guy! The pressure must have drove him to retaliate against the country that is the ultimate enemy of everyone in the world; the country who took him in and gave him a better life than he could have known in the third world cesspool he came from.
These terrorists are infiltrating us; working from the inside to wreak havoc on the citizens of this country in their fight in this holy war.
We certainly don't need the Media trying to find excuses for them. And we certainly don't need a leader of this country refusing to call them terrorists when that is what they are: Terrorists with a capital T.

Arizona's Illegal Immigration Reform Law
"When in the course of human events..." With no help from Washington offered to relieve the horrible plight of the illegal immigration woes of Arizona, the state acted with its own best interests at heart. It is not a perfect law, but they did what they felt they had to do. After continually asking for federal help and receiving nothing, the governor of the state and the state government enacted a law to help alleviate the vast problem of all the illegals racing across the border and reigning terror on the people of the state.
Who can blame them? While federal help was not forthcoming, they are quick to line up to attack this bold move. Eric Holder, Attorney General is threatening to sue the state. The ACLU is lining up to take action because they are being unfair to illegals, infringing on their civil liberties. And from both parties in Washington, we hear nothing but silence.
What has happened to this country that illegal aliens who come across the border to wreak havoc and commit atrocities against our people receive more rights than our own citizens? God forbid we should do any profiling against people breaking the law!
Of course, Obama who has been silent during the pleading for help, has suddenly finding his voice and coming forward with all kinds of plans and opinions about the illegal aliens situation. Oh, the hypocrites, so quick to condemn the state for their action when they failed to take any or to even acknowledge the state's problems. Where were they during all the murders, the kidnappings, the drug wars?
As millions of illegal aliens come here and enjoy the benefits of freedom and get the benefits the rest of us have all worked for, our own citizens are being warned that Social Security is in trouble; Medicare/Medicaid is in trouble. Of course it is, it is being used up at an alarming pace by the illegals who come here for a handout.
They need to be kicked out of this country and if they want to come back, do so legally. Sure, this will break up some families, but they should have thought about this before they broke the law. And for Obama and his administration to back the illegals instead of our own speaks volumes of what kind of people we have elected.
70% of the people of Arizona back this state legislation. Something must be done. If the federal government won't act, then it's time the states step forward and take a hand in running things.
Obama is all about taking over this country, and remaking it. Why doesn't he offer real reform? Because he can't afford to anger the illegals. He's counting on making them all citizens so he can skew the elections in his favor come November and 2012.
Who would have thought that 300 years after our country was born, it would take one man to dismantle America.
Unfortunately, Americans need to stand up and fight for our freedom all over again. The very thing that our forefathers fought to give us is being threatened again, this time from within. Wake up, America. Vote for change in Washington. ~One Voice

Anti-Tea Party Rants
Protest rallies have been a part of our culture for generations, dating all the way back to the Revolution era. The original protesters, that handful of citizens who stood up and fought for their beliefs are responsible for the freedom we hold dear today.
Generations later, the protests of the sixties against the Viet Nam war raged on, defacing the military heroes who returned home. The left was all for this "freedom of speech."
The Tea parties that have sprung up all over this country are the newest form of freedom of speech. But now, the left is against them. They fear us. They were all for the right to protest for their causes but now the shoe is on the other foot. The right was to protest what they see as unfair taxation, among other things, and that is their right.
And for former President Clinton to be denigrating our efforts is a slap in the face. Trying to liken our peaceful protests to what happened at the Oklahoma federal building bombing is asinine. And he of all people, should cast stones at anyone? How soon they forget the cloud of embarrassment that hung over his oval office a few years back.
The effort of Tea Party people will become more important as we grow closer to the elections. They are not going away; their efforts will only strengthen and grow as more people become dissatisfied with the current administration's efforts to make a joke of us; to brand us as ungrateful, and "AstroTurf", making fun of our grassroots effort. Let them ridicule us; let them make jokes, but it is the grassroots campaign of Americans who will unseat those in power and we will have the last laugh as Democrats pack their bags to go home.
State run media outlets are beginning to cover our efforts; our efforts have indeed had a strong impact as the left has put out "infiltrators" to get into the Tea Party and denigrate us from within. We will not let them denigrate us anymore than we will let the left win in November. The battle lines have been drawn and we will stand firm in our effort to demonstrate to Washington our desire to be heard.
Nothing has worked so far. The Democrats who ridicule us; those who have sold out will face our retribution in the fall. No, we are not violent, though the press is trying to say we are (those are the infiltrators at work); our right to protest the wrong we see going on in Washington is our right.
The don't have to accept us; but they do have to accept the will of the people in this country; once more our voice will be heard loudly at the ballot box.
Won't you join in the effort to rid our country of those in power who will not listen to the will of the people?
They left has had to do everything in their power to distract from our mission; but we are being heard by millions of Americans who, like us, are sick and tired of Washington not listening to us. They will trot out Clinton because at one time his charisma would charm the birds out of the trees, but his day is past. And he has many sins the right has not forgotten.
In November, there will be a new Contract with America and the Tea Parties efforts will be rewarded by victory. Be on the winning side and cast your vote for America.

The Tea parties that have sprung up all over this country are the newest form of freedom of speech. But now, the left is against them. They fear us. They were all for the right to protest for their causes but now the shoe is on the other foot. The right was to protest what they see as unfair taxation, among other things, and that is their right.
And for former President Clinton to be denigrating our efforts is a slap in the face. Trying to liken our peaceful protests to what happened at the Oklahoma federal building bombing is asinine. And he of all people, should cast stones at anyone? How soon they forget the cloud of embarrassment that hung over his oval office a few years back.
The effort of Tea Party people will become more important as we grow closer to the elections. They are not going away; their efforts will only strengthen and grow as more people become dissatisfied with the current administration's efforts to make a joke of us; to brand us as ungrateful, and "AstroTurf", making fun of our grassroots effort. Let them ridicule us; let them make jokes, but it is the grassroots campaign of Americans who will unseat those in power and we will have the last laugh as Democrats pack their bags to go home.
State run media outlets are beginning to cover our efforts; our efforts have indeed had a strong impact as the left has put out "infiltrators" to get into the Tea Party and denigrate us from within. We will not let them denigrate us anymore than we will let the left win in November. The battle lines have been drawn and we will stand firm in our effort to demonstrate to Washington our desire to be heard.
Nothing has worked so far. The Democrats who ridicule us; those who have sold out will face our retribution in the fall. No, we are not violent, though the press is trying to say we are (those are the infiltrators at work); our right to protest the wrong we see going on in Washington is our right.
The don't have to accept us; but they do have to accept the will of the people in this country; once more our voice will be heard loudly at the ballot box.
Won't you join in the effort to rid our country of those in power who will not listen to the will of the people?
They left has had to do everything in their power to distract from our mission; but we are being heard by millions of Americans who, like us, are sick and tired of Washington not listening to us. They will trot out Clinton because at one time his charisma would charm the birds out of the trees, but his day is past. And he has many sins the right has not forgotten.
In November, there will be a new Contract with America and the Tea Parties efforts will be rewarded by victory. Be on the winning side and cast your vote for America.

A Question of Racism
It seems we will never be free on the term "racism." We are deemed racists if we disagree with a black President on his policies. We are racists if we protest health care reform; we are racists if we disagree with this administration's handling of foreign policy; we are racists if we exercise our rights to freedom of choice if we are not choosing to support programs that will certainly lead our nation into bankruptcy.
Where is the cry of outrage against this misnomer? Who stole our freedom when we weren't looking? This government is all about stealing our freedoms and controlling our lives. The time has come to fight back.
This government is demeaning all that we hold dear. The right to demonstrate our grievances, Ala the Tea Party movement, has been branded as a group of racists and bigots. Are we soon to lose the right to dissent? Why don't all Americans see this as "Big Brother?" Are they blind? Do they not care? Why is this not racism?
Folks, you'd better be scared for your country. People like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Sarah Palin are fighting for you. Are you willing to listen to their pleas? Are you ready for real change?
We have to dig our heels in and fight for what we believe in. The Constitution that was created by our forefathers is there for a reason. To protect us against those who would take our nation apart and rebuild it into a socialistic country.
Racism is a bad thing. But when it is mislabeled and cried out for the wrong reasons, it is ignored. Cry wolf and no one listens after a while.
Let's make these charges work in our favor. Fight back with your vote. Get involved in electing new blood in Washington. I'm not saying that Republicans have all the answers, but what we have now sitting in Washington is a bunch of socialists who want to demoralize this nation and turn it into a state run government. Don't let that happen. Take a positive approach and let your voice be heard. Make this a nation we can be proud of again. And let's bury the term racism forever. ~ One Voice

Drill, Baby, Drill
Today the president offered a new initiative for off shore oil drilling. Off Florida, Off Texas and Alaska. Is this a shift in his position to center right? Or is it merely a ploy for re-election?
Off shore drilling is a good idea; using the resources we have will not harm anything except drive the cost of a barrel of oil down. Of course, when George Bush did this, a cry from all the global warming enthusiasts arose castigating him as the Great Criminal.
Unfortunately, California has not bought into this plan. For a state that is nearly backrupt, they need to view all options to pull themselves out of the mire. In only 5years time they could be out of the hole and solvent once more.
My question about Obama's sudden shift is valid. Why does he suddenly take a sharp turn from his leftist ideas? You know the left is going to be jumping all over him on this. So what does he hope to gain? Numbers, that's the bottom line. The public is angry that he went against their wishes on health care where 73% opposed his bill's passage. Now he's doing a one-eighty away from the far left agenda, and doing something that makes sense to conservatives. Is it a trick?
Or does he really want to sink the conservationists? Only time will tell.
Me? I'm not buying it. He's trying to win back voters to his side. That 52% of voters who elected him in 2008 have scattered like ducks in a blind.
Where Obama has gone wrong is thinking the American people will forgive his stubbornness on health care; not so fast, Mr. President. The American people are smarter than you give them credit for. If you're trying trickery to win back their support, it's not going to fly. America is wise to you now.
They want change; the kind of change you promised and didn't deliver. They want jobs; they don't want government running their lives. They respect and honor the Constitution; they want to preserve the America our forefathers founded. They want to keep freedom; not let government control big business.
So change is coming, Mr. President. Come November your majority will disappear; and America will have spoken, loud and clear. ~ One Voice

Fear Among The Masses
Fear will do a lot of things. It can bring out the best and worst reactions among the people. It has come to light that several members of Congress have been threatened, spit upon, and cursed because they voted for the health care reform bill that is now law.
This is inexcusable behavior by anyone. But what has prompted such behavior? My theory is fear lies behind this behavior. People are frightened by what is happening in this country. The government is intruding into our lives at a rapid pace. Big brother is looking over our shoulders and into our homes. The Internal Revenue Service has hired 16,000 new employees to do just that. They are going to spy on us and fine us if we don't get insurance. Or if they don't like the insurance we have, they will make us change. And if you ask a government representative about this, they skate all around and deny what they are doing.
When the United States government totally ignores the wishes of millions of Americans and goes ahead and enacts legislation that infringes on the rights of every American to live free and make their own decisions, they are asking for a few radicals to indulge in bad behavior patterns. That doesn't mean the whole group of well behaved protesters should be blamed.
Fear can cause people to react in a myriad of ways. When these people see the country they loved being taken over against their will, some of these people will react negatively. While I don't condone their behavior, who can blame them? The true blame should be laid at Obama's door for creating this world into which he's thrust Americans.
It is he who has ignored the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. It is he who is making laws when the Congress states that only the Congress can make laws. No, I'm not talking about the health care reform bill, but rather his writing of the executive order to keep abortion funds out of the new plan, which we all know is a lie. Abortion funds come to each state via the government. They may call these funds something else but they will pay for abortions.
And so fear grips America for what is to come: more socialistic programs in which the government takes control of our lives. Even as we speak, states are suing the federal government over the unconstitutionality of the health care reform bill.
30 plus states are joining in this fight. The health care legislation is as corrupt as those who voted for it.
The people of America are banding together to fight the Democrats and this administration. I predict that record numbers will be going to the polls in November to vote in the next election. You're going to hear cries of Take Back America all over this country. And I am proud to be among those who will be shouting it as loud as I can. ~ One Voice

Pelosi's Next Target
The election fix is about to be implemented. Nancy Pelosi's next move will be to legalize millions of illegal aliens and make them citizens of the United States. This is to secure their votes come November so that they can prevent the influx of Republicans slated to overrun the House and Senate.
ACORN is being disbanded and re-introduced under new names and Obama will make certain they get federal funding once more, securing his return for a second term. The fix is in, folks. The takeover of this country is underway.
Our freedom will be history. Most of the nation who was against health care reform is feeling betrayed today. And very depressed at the outcome. Not only did those politicians who vouchsafed never to vote for a bill that contained funding for abortions cave, but our Catholic church also turned on us, okaying such a move "for the greater good."
I am very disillusioned right now. To the point where I am once again questioning my faith and wondering what is the point if they can cave to the leftists who are vilifying this country. Is the church run by leftists, Marxists and Communists? People who hate the United States and the freedom that we have always held dear, are now running this country. And we have no recourse at present.
We can say we'll vote them out, but will we? Once the fix is in we won't be able to overcome millions of aliens who will be so grateful to Obama that they will promise their votes in return. Not only will they outvote us, but they will be stealing what's left of our social security benefits.
This is a frightening time to be alive as our constitution is ripped apart and the door to freedom is slammed shut like a steel trap.
It seems so easy to say, "Vote them out." But what if they won't go? What if they dismantle our Constitution and Bill of Rights? That's the real fear now. They've already got the insurance industry. How long before they shut down the TV and radio stations and replace everything with state run programming? They also already have in place the means for wealth sharing. That's Communism in case you don't recognize the term.
I'm telling you we're in the throes of a Communistic take over and it has just begun. When you see millions of people march on Washington to voice their opinions, and they are shut down and ignored; only the will of the state counts; only Obama's rules will be obeyed. What does it sound like to you?
While we grouse and grumble about the health care bill, Pelosi has probably already moved on to the next agenda which is immigration reform.
While you still can, voice your opinions and don't let them beat us. They will try to squirm out from under our accusations; don't let them. While we still have freedom of speech, let the world know how you feel. And keep fighting these Democrats who have run amok. ~ One Voice

Sad Day for America
Socialized health care has come to America! From the best health care system in the world to third world country status in one fell swoop. Thanks to the Democratic string pulling and under handed dealings in DC we will be drowned in poverty and the government will be running our lives.
I am immediately emailing all the Republican candidates that will be running in November and offering my help and assistance. Anyone who voted for this bill is both corrupt and insane. To all those who took payoffs and bribes, bye bye.
I am overjoyed that the Right to Life organization that was going to honor Rep. Stupak this coming Wednesday, has withdrawn this event. They also stated that they would not support any election for anyone who voted for the health care bill. I stand behind their decision 100%.
Despite the efforts of the Tea Party and the millions who said 'no' to this debacle, The Democratic party voted to pass this legislation. Despite the fact that they will be passing down years of debt to their children and grandchildren. The arrogance of Obama will be worse than ever now. Now that he has his "foot" in the door, he will change this bill to completely shut down insurance companies. There will be no increase in jobs, but for the government. The rest of the work force will not be able to afford to provide insurance for their employees and the government will take over. More out of work people. But they'll have health care! As they draw their unemployment and food stamps, they can go to clinics, that is, if there are any doctors who will treat them.
I work for a medical facility that does not take Medicaid. What will happen next? Will they force medical facilities to take Medicaid, even though the reimbursement is next to nothing? Only time will tell.
But one thing is certain. Nancy Pelosi will be gone in November. Because she and the other idiots who voted for health care reform are history.
Jump on the bandwagon now and start the campaign to rid this country of the traitors who now sit in power.
