CBO's Skewed Numbers

They've been waiting for it for days. The Congressional Budget Office's budget numbers for the Obamacare plan. The numbers are skewed. Is no one in Washington honest?
The figure listed for Medicare is counted twice. The millions being cut from Medicare are what it would take to fix it. This figure is listed again because this amount is being taken from Medicare and used to fund the new program. Americans everywhere are sick and tired of this subterfuge, especially seniors. A bus load of them came up to DC from Florida today and were pummeling their reps verbally as they chased after them down the halls of their office building. Okay, so I wasn't there and don't know if they actually chased them, literally, but they were giving them what for, I am sure. Seniors are not happy that the money they paid for Medicare is being given away to fund another program while their benefits are being cut. The CBO is aware of the discrepancies involved with Medicare/Medicaid and what the president is saying. He keeps denying that Medicare will be cut. Talk to the people on the Medicare program and they will tell you different. They have first hand knowledge of what is being paid and what is not. More and more cancer patients are being turned down for treatment because Medicare won't pay. There is going to be a revolt in this country like you've never seen before, Mr. President. And just remember who started this ball rolling.
As we speak, more Tea Party advocates are calling for a mass invasion of DC on Saturday to convene on the Capitol steps at noon. I wish with all my heart that I could be there. Rep. King from Iowa is spearheading this event. I wish him godspeed in achieving a mass turnout. In the meantime, people are calling the Congressional offices to voice their opinions against the bill. Rush Limbaugh gave out the switchboard numbers as most representatives and senators have their phones blocked where they cannot accept any more messages. Those numbers are: 1-877-762-8762 or 202-224-3121 or 202-225-3121.
Supposedly, the bill is posted on line. If you can find it and read it, great. I searched all afternoon and couldn't find it. Read it and try to understand what they will do to you.
One of the provisions allows a child up to 26 years old to be covered on the parent's policies. That allows someone living at home, not working and lying around the house to receive the same benefits as someone who works like a demon and pays full price for his insurance. Seem fair to you? Call, call, call!!!!
Now, the speaker of the house has been accused in Congress of malfeasant behavior by bending the rules of law to achieve passage of this bill by the third highest Republican. Of course, the Democrats tabled this measure.
There will be hell to pay for Congress in the coming months as constituents get ready to fire their Congressional employees.
November, or house cleaning season, cannot get here soon enough! ~ One Voice
