Fear will do a lot of things. It can bring out the best and worst reactions among the people. It has come to light that several members of Congress have been threatened, spit upon, and cursed because they voted for the health care reform bill that is now law.
This is inexcusable behavior by anyone. But what has prompted such behavior? My theory is fear lies behind this behavior. People are frightened by what is happening in this country. The government is intruding into our lives at a rapid pace. Big brother is looking over our shoulders and into our homes. The Internal Revenue Service has hired 16,000 new employees to do just that. They are going to spy on us and fine us if we don't get insurance. Or if they don't like the insurance we have, they will make us change. And if you ask a government representative about this, they skate all around and deny what they are doing.
When the United States government totally ignores the wishes of millions of Americans and goes ahead and enacts legislation that infringes on the rights of every American to live free and make their own decisions, they are asking for a few radicals to indulge in bad behavior patterns. That doesn't mean the whole group of well behaved protesters should be blamed.
Fear can cause people to react in a myriad of ways. When these people see the country they loved being taken over against their will, some of these people will react negatively. While I don't condone their behavior, who can blame them? The true blame should be laid at Obama's door for creating this world into which he's thrust Americans.
It is he who has ignored the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. It is he who is making laws when the Congress states that only the Congress can make laws. No, I'm not talking about the health care reform bill, but rather his writing of the executive order to keep abortion funds out of the new plan, which we all know is a lie. Abortion funds come to each state via the government. They may call these funds something else but they will pay for abortions.
And so fear grips America for what is to come: more socialistic programs in which the government takes control of our lives. Even as we speak, states are suing the federal government over the unconstitutionality of the health care reform bill.
30 plus states are joining in this fight. The health care legislation is as corrupt as those who voted for it.
The people of America are banding together to fight the Democrats and this administration. I predict that record numbers will be going to the polls in November to vote in the next election. You're going to hear cries of Take Back America all over this country. And I am proud to be among those who will be shouting it as loud as I can. ~ One Voice
