Healthcare: Want it or not

Obama is going to ram through his health care plan whether we want it or not. We already knew this was his plan, despite the fact he agreed to a sit down with both Democrats and Republicans. Even though we all knew it was an exercise in futility, he went ahead and wasted every one's time, just as we knew he would.
Nancy Pelosi, on this morning's This Week in Washington, could not give any logical reasoning behind this move, just reiterated that we must pass health care now. I'm not sure who is the puppet here, her or Obama, but I've always believed she was the one running the presidency.
How sad that they just don't get it! The will of the people is being ignored. As more and more organizations are springing up to let the will of the people be heard, the Democrats are going down in defeat this November and Mrs. Pelosi may be among them. Organizations are funding candidates that will make a change in Washington, including striking down this massive legislation that will certainly bankrupt this country.
We cannot afford to add more trillions in debt to this faltering economy. The tax and spend Democrats cannot conceive that people are just fed up and refuse to take it anymore.
Mrs. Pelosi cannot even make a decision about removing Charlie Rengel from his committee chairmanship because of his illegal dealings. While he's busy making excuses, blaming his staff, she ignores the issue. Perhaps she thinks it will go away if she ignores it. And this is a demonstration of leadership?
As the debt continues to grow, Americans have said NO in a resounding voice.
Maybe the first Wednesday in November will have them whistling a different tune. And let's hope by then, it's too late for them to do anything but pack their bags. ~ Once Voice
