The Loss of America's Power in the World

Every day America's dissatisfaction with the Obama administration grows. The latest effort of the Obama camp to rethink the KSM trial's location makes America appear as a weakened, incompetent nation to our audience abroad.
Eric Holder's announcement that the trial would take place in New York inflamed the American people and the victims from 9/11 who reside in New York. At a cost of millions of dollars to beef up security in lower Manhattan, the scene of those devastating attacks against America, the choice of this location was a slap in the face to the victim's families.
First, several New York leaders went along with the plan, putting on a good face, but privately they were horrified that Obama would put the people of New York through another nightmare. But slowly, more and more officials came out against such a preposterous idea. Even democrats were against such a plan, including Chuck Schumer, Barbara Boxer and others who were unable to stay silent.
Then the administration began to back off, leaking news that they were "rethinking" the New York site for the trial. The trouble is no one wants to own this thing because we all know that these enemy combatants who are being treated with all the rights of American citizens should be tried by a military tribunal. Who wants to see these murderers go free on a technicality? Obama, maybe? Does he think it will endear America to the countries who breed these terrorists?
As Europe and Asian countries watch this scenario play out, America continues to be seen as a weakened country, unable to bring to justice a handful of enemy combatants who in other countries would have been brought to trial and exterminated. Here we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. We let the ACLU dictate what's good for terrorists. And the global impact is showing the world that the Obama administration is run by fools and idiots. They must be laughing at the weakness of a once great nation.
Obama needs to take a stand and dump those people in his administration who are putting up a divisive, weakened appearance to the world. Holder, Napolitano, and Geitner all need to go.
Neapolitano can't be bothered to even attend hearings on the Underwear Bomber. Holder has made a mess out of the KSM business, and Geitner has us in so deep we'll never get out of the hole he's dug for us.
But Obama won't act. He is a puppet of the far left agenda he clings to. He was put into power by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and a dream that promised change. Change is right because that's all we have is change in our pockets and no jobs.
In the meantime, the world is laughing at the joke America's defense has become. Are you laughing yet? ~ One Voice
