The government is suing Arizona for passing an immigration law. But they will not prosecute the two Black Panther members who intimidated white voters in the 2008 elections to prevent them from voting. This is clearly breaking the law.
Have you noticed that there seem to be two sets of laws for the Obama administration? Talk about racism!
There is clearly a double standard when it comes to Democrats and Republicans in office. If George W. Bush were in charge and he refused to prosecute those Black Panthers, all hell would have broken loose. The media would have been all over it. But no one is saying a word about this. When it was revealed that Chris Dodd took a sweet deal from Countrywide for favors, was he punished? No, it was pretty much a couple of comments on the evening news and just as quickly pushed into the background. When Tom DeLay was accused of misdeeds, his story was plastered all over every paper and TV station in the land. His career was ruined and he was threatened with jail time. To this day, nothing has been proven. And, in Chris Dodd's case, he conveniently decided to retire, not because his career was in ruins or that he was being prosecuted, but because he knew he had no chance of winning the next election.
Again, two sets of rules are in play.
It is a sad state of affairs that the people of this country let things like this happen and don't fight back against this kind of treachery.
You may remember a little while back that Nancy Pelosi called the CIA liars. Nothing came of that. Had it been a republican it would still be playing on the news until retribution was dealt out.
It is time that all Americans demand accountability equally among party representatives. If someone breaks the law, they need to pay for their crime.
By the same token, if any citizen commits a crime, he is arrested, tried, and serves time if he is found guilty. It is against the law to intimidate anyone to keep them from voting, black or white. It has nothing to do with race and everything to do with the law.
The Black Panthers broke the law and should be punished. Is Obama going to let every black person who commits a crime, escape justice?
All Arizona was doing was passing a law, just like the federal law on immigration that the government refuses to enforce that is already on the books. The only reason this is becoming an issue is because Obama wants to "legalize" all illegals so he can get their vote in the next election.
It's called Obama politics and he intends to win no matter what. Americans need to wake up and see him for what he is. It's time to stop the double standards of the political machine. I'm not just talking about Democrats either. Both sides have their faults. And it's up to us, as Americans, to stop this tide of unfairness. ~One Voice
