NAACP Takes on the Tea Party

It's amazing the slings and arrows that are flying back and forth at the Tea Party. Charges of racism spread across the country like wildfire in a summer drought. The head of the NAACP is leading the race. Mr. Jealous (I wonder, is he?) is busy hurling accusations of racism and yet, no proof is given; no offenses cited.
We keep hearing about that incident in which a member of Congress was spit upon, but no witnesses ever saw it; no pictures or films ever surfaced showing the incident.
Granted, when you have a large group, you are bound to have a few radicals spring up, and those who do anything to denigrate persons of a certain color or religion, should be punished. But the majority of Tea Party advocates are wholesome Americans who want to return the country to its greatness and escape the far left thinking that put us in this mess of massive debt. And when questioned about the apparent racism within the NAACP, Mr. Jealous vehemently denies any such thing exists.
Not to call Mr. Jealous a liar; but he seems to be stretching the truth a bit. In any large group there are radical members who, by today's terminology, would be called racists. It's a fact of life.
The NAACP was founded to help the black people who were oppressed; the down and out black families who were persecuted and too poor to pull themselves up and get themselves out of the ghetto. The NAACP doesn't have much to complain about today. They are becoming stoic with no where to go. The militant black groups have taken over, unfortunately, and are getting all the attention in the black community.
Some of them are racists; those who stand and block the polls and prevent citizens from voting by acts of intimidation. But if a white person claimed those blocking the poll entrances were racists, the white people would be condemned.
Another example of the double standard when it comes to racism in this country. And those on the far left are quick to jump to their defense. No one can disagree with the left or we're called racists. So I guess that makes all conservatives racists. If that is the case, I am proud to be one.
Much is being heard from the New Black Panthers, the ones who intimidated the white people, wielding their nightsticks and threatening people, trying to keep them from voting in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, in 2008. The Department of Justice had a viable case against these men, but were told to drop the case. It is said this decree came directly from the White House with the edict: we will not prosecute blacks.(Already 2 whistelblowers are calling for an investigation and have quit their posts over this scandal.)
At the end of August, there will be a gathering in Washington D.C. to celebrate our founding fathers and the heroes this country has known, black and white, German, Jew, Native American. It is not a political event and yet, the NAACP and other black groups are trying to turn the event into a political statement. They have announced they will be there. They are incensed because this happens to be the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King's march of freedom. According to them, we have the audacity to plan an event on the same day of the historic march on Washington. How sad this world has become.
For as long as we live, we will never be able to hold our events on any days when Martin Luther King or any other black leader did something. If we do, we will forever be identified as racists.
This is not the America I grew up loving. This is not the America I was taught to revere and honor. It's come down to a name calling society and we are not getting better. We are getting worse. Shame on this America! Shame on all those who hate America, yet continue to get rich on the backs of their brothers; shame on all those who think that violence and brother killing brother is the answer; and shame on all those men who want to destroy this country and turn it into a third world cesspool. That is not the America I want, and I will fight until I draw my last breath to keep that from happening. ~ Aunt Millie
