I thought it was over. Health Care passed, much to my regret, and since our wonderful Congress didn't get exactly what they wanted, they're going to bring it up again. The Public Option, that was stricken from the original bill, is surfacing yet again thanks to the die hard democrats who will not be denied any chance to tax Americans to death.
I guess the thirteen trillion dollar deficit wasn't high enough to suit them. They haven't bankrupted this nation yet; but give them time, they will. The idiots who raised this latest ploy have the temerity to say "It will save us money." How dumb do they think we are?
They are determined to drive insurance companies out of business, thereby, taking over another industry so they can control us all. "We're going to save billions of dollars to pay down the deficit." If you buy that, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you.
It never stops with these tax and spend thrift democrats. Spend, spend, spend, that's all they know how to do. They know that defeat is waiting for them in November, so they're going to ram through every piece of legislation that they want between now and then. And, apparently, there's nothing that can be done to stop them.
The government cannot manage any program they have created. And yet, this is the be all and end all of insurance plans. It will save the country from the evil big business-run insurance companies.
I got news for Pelosi and Reid. All of these laws you are passing will be repealed in the new year. Americans are sick and tired of Congress not listening to us. You cannot continue to ignore the will of the people. We do not want this plan; we did not want the last one either. And just because President Obama will still be in office doesn't mean he can veto the repeals. The House can override his vetoes. Because by that time, the Republicans will once again be in charge. And Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Reid will be but a bad memory.
They have shamed the Capitol with their shenanigans and plots to dismantle this country. It's time to show them who's really in charge: the people. ~ One Voice
