Barack Obama began his move to secure the elections today. His speech today proved what we've been saying all along: he will use amnesty to secure the elections in his favor.
If you watched his expression and that half smile sneer as he looked into the camera, you could see his insincerity. He doesn't give a damn about illegals and the plight of America. The only reason he wants to now talk about border security and amnesty is so he can use the illegals to help him win elections. He doesn't have a sympathetic bone in his body for these people.
Arizona's law is about to take effect later this month and up until this time, he's given no inclination to engage; no effort for the federal government to do anything. He reluctantly provided 1200 National Guard members for the border, not even half of what was asked for.
Representatives of the federal government say that this law will result in lawsuits for discrimination; that racial profiling will be used. The law is clear that police cannot stop anyone and question their citizenship UNLESS they break the law and are investigating a crime.
Again, Obama is merely using the illegals to save his job. It's just another example of using his Chicago style of politics to ram through yet another piece of legislation that America doesn't want. The Arizona law stands because it is what the majority of people in that state want.
It looks like Obama will be going on another whirlwind tour to convince the public that amnesty is the answer; worker programs are the answer. Dividing families is not the answer to this dilemma.
Worker programs will not work because when the job is finished, the workers won't leave and go back to Mexico or wherever else they've migrated from. In the meantime, the illegals will continue to drain the coffers of Social Security and Medicare. And Americans who have worked for those benefits, will be denied them because those funds will be all used up long before they were supposed to run out.
Watch for this new legislation to be in place before November. It's his last ditch effort to hold on to the House and Senate for his party. ~ One Voice
